In 2019, I designed custom typography for four episodes of Hong Kong West Side Stories, each typeface tailored to reflect the tone of the narrative:

"Mystery Girl and the Secret Place" (食女性地嘉亨灣) – A security guard pretends to be a resident to seduce a woman at a nightclub. The typography embodies the playfulness and deceit of the plot.

"Gym Men in the Dream"
(因為寂寞所以健身) – After receiving a phone number, Jack joins a gym, only to be pushed into a fitness plan. The bold typography mirrors his forced fitness journey.

"Missing Love Chances" (獨男愛的機會) – Koo, an IT worker, becomes office gossip after a mistaken message reveals his romantic loneliness. The typography reflects his melancholic search for connection.
Each design captured the unique atmosphere and emotion of its episode.

"Bunk Bed (Part 1 and 2)" (碌架床) – Wong Ka-him and his wife struggle to conceive while living with their large family, and secrets surface. Minimalist typography evokes the cramped tensions.
